Sometimes the written word – even when accompanied by photographs – doesn’t adequately describe a beautiful travel experience. We feel this is the case with our Mediterranean Odyssey tour which commences in Marseilles, France on 5 June, and ends in Barcelona on 30 June. This is a truly immersive, slow-paced journey through the most beautiful region of Southern France and northern Spain. Fine hotels and dining experiences are the order of the day, combined with leisurely private sightseeing for our small group of just 20 guests. The land portion of our journey includes extended stays in such beautiful towns and cities as Uzés, Bordeaux, Biarritz and San Sebastian. We then take to the ocean to cruise for 7 nights on the beautiful new Explora II, from Rome to Barcelona. Port calls at Sorrento, Messina, Sardinia and Mallorca feature on our journey to Barcelona where our tour ends.
