Day 1 – Wednesday 1 April
Late night arrival in Negombo with a short transfer to the hotel for a restful overnight stay before touring begins.
Day 2 – Thursday 2 April
Travel to Dambulla via the historic capital of Anuradhapura and visit the ancient Dambulla Golden Cave Temple, before settling into the Heritance Kandalama for three nights.
Day 3 – Friday 3 April
Morning at leisure at the resort, followed by an afternoon visit to the ancient city of Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka’s first capital and a key Buddhist site.
Day 4 – Saturday 4 April
Excursion to Sigiriya Rock Fortress to admire its frescoes and optional climb to the top of this iconic 5th-century palace.
Day 5 – Sunday 5 April
Drive to Kandy with a guided visit to the Matale Spice Garden en route, before checking in to the Jetwing Kandy Gallery for two nights.
Day 6 – Monday 6 April
Explore the Peradeniya Royal Botanic Garden and the Temple of the Tooth Relic, followed by a colourful traditional dance show in the evening.
Day 7 – Tuesday 7 April
Scenic train ride from Kandy to Nanu Oya and on to Nuwara Eliya to stay at the charming Heritance Tea Factory hotel.
Day 8 – Wednesday 8 April
Learn about Sri Lanka’s tea culture in Nuwara Eliya, enjoy tea tastings and a special high tea experience amidst the plantations.
Day 9 – Thursday 9 April
Travel to Yala National Park, check into luxury safari cabins, and enjoy an exciting afternoon game drive spotting wildlife.
Day 10 – Friday 10 April
Morning game drive in Yala to search for elephants, crocodiles, and leopards, with the rest of the day free to relax.
Day 11 – Saturday 11 April
Drive along the coast to the UNESCO fort town of Galle for a leisurely afternoon and a stay at the historic Fort Bazaar hotel.
Day 12 – Sunday 12 April
Morning guided walking tour of Galle Fort, with free time to explore boutiques, beaches, cafés, and museums at your own pace.
Day 13 – Monday 13 April
Continue along the coast to Colombo for a city tour including Pettah Market, with a stay at the iconic Galle Face Hotel.
Day 14 – Tuesday 14 April
Final day at leisure in Colombo for shopping or relaxation, with rooms held until evening departure and a farewell reception prior to transfer.
